Jack-of-all Mobile within 10k

Hi!
I am looking for a feature packed mobile within 10k which doesn't have to be either a great cam or music phone but should be fun to play around with like modding,theming,apps,games,etc.
Kindly suggest.

Perhaps,Nokia N70M,decent phone,plenty of apps,themes n games available for it,dont know about mods though.

For modding, get the K750i. hardware upgrades - W800 skins etc, HPM 70 headphones

Software upgrades- flash to 800fw, try the various camera drivers , like this one

or you can skip the whole thing and get a W810 instead

if you want to play around with apps, get a symbian phone , preferably nokia , instead

What else than w850i which i am using from 8 months with all the possible Mods.It simply rocks .But u have to invest more than 10k i think(also keep in mind that this is old model)or u can get w580i if u are concerned abt the style

Symbian phones are the best phone if you want to play around with apps and themes as there are thousands of apps to download. if you can stress your budget abit try nokia 5700 Xpressmusic phone with symbian S60 v3 ..

Precisely the 5700 seems to have all that I was looking for and most importantly it is priced at Rs.9999 @Mobilestore, so it perfectly fits in to the budget as well.

another phone you could check out in the range is the htc p3400.

camera is horrible for a 2 mp thing. but rest all the features are pretty good.
is at 9-9.7 k depending on shop.

you might miss a keypad, but a touchscreen if pretty much of fun to try out.

If you want a windows mobile check out the Asus P320, its for 11k i think...

that damn thing has everything...

The Asus P320 does seem to be loaded with features but the lowest price I have come across for it is Rs.11990 i.e. 12k and I do need to keep the price within 4 digits.

SE k550i for 8k odd......mod to w610 u got great phone with 2mp cam+music+flash menus+edge....

Eventually decided to go with the 5700, mainly because it runs S60 9.2, has an ARM11 processor @369Mhz, has a QVGA LCD while also supporting 3G and being compatible with the Nokia Wireless GPS module. I guess the only thing it lacks is Wi-FI but I guess you can't get everything for such a price.

One thing to note is that the 5700 has been discontinued a few months back, so its very difficult to get it from some of the local stores. I managed to get it online from the Mobile Store for Rs.9999 since it was not available even at my local Mobile Store. Now I am simply waiting for it to be delivered, hopefully by tomorrow.

Yeah, finally received it yesterday, that's a whole week later but I guess it was worth it. Just felt like buying one of those limited edition phones.
