Jagged Alliance (2,Gold,UB,Wildfire)fans anyone?

Yo peeps!

First time i'm starting a thread in this section :ashamed: could be coz my rig aint a gaming one

Anyway, was wondering if there were any Jagged Alliance (2, Gold, Unfinished Business, Wildfire) fans here..

i remember playing the JG2 demo more than a year ago.. but i stopped gaming last October.. restarted just now and got myself Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire v6.04

Of course i do wish to use cheats once in a while, but the stupid cheats and trainers do not work!

managed to get myself a very old JG2 Savegame editor.. which happens to be in German :S and using it takes a bit of trial and error, and screws up the savefile once in a while, but i'm getting by with it

still have it installed (jagged alliance 2,the one with queen deidranna) and play quite often

to get me thro a bit but then, i'm on Wildfire, same queen deidranna but lotsa new stuff.. improved graphix (more buildings, more cover), etc.. :hap5:

Some characters i like are Reaper, Ivan.. have to use all the characters though
How are mercs from M.E.R.C.? havnt used them yet..

BTW is it just me or is Elliot just like Benny from the Mummy movies.. :lol:

Yessir. JA2 must be the only game I've played 3-4 times (my earlier JA2 post on TE).UB was really cut down edition and not that much fun. Then couldnt get Wildfire to run 600x800; only worked at 1024x768 which is no good for my 14" crappy monitor. There were talks of JA3D but then the developer Mistland got split or something and the project seems to be going the Duke Forever way.

AAArgh can someone help me..

I'm on JA 2 Wildfire v6.04 :|

when i'm at 7:15am on Day 3, the graphics conks out :|

the area surrounding a merc gets dark.. while the rest of the area goes into a shade or dark green

This "event" happens if i'm at the tactical or map screen.

after this happens, if i do something like kick open a door or throw a grenade, the game freezes and i have to use the Restart button on my CPU

and i noticed that the "freeze" occurs inevitably 3 minutes into the graphics messing up when i'm in the tactical screen
