With so many JB programs and lots of firmwares its becomes quite stressful for a newbie to unlock or jailbreak his iphone.

Is a Jailbreak for Iphone 3GS on 3.1.3 FW with the new bootrom ie-359.3.2 available ? I couldn't get it from the table above , as in what's tethered ?

Asking this for a friend who owns a factory unlocked 3GS with 3.1.3 FW and new bootrom.Few days back I checked online and everywhere it said , no jailbreak possible for new bootrom 3GS.
 
You'll need to update the 3.1.2 new bootloader Unlock Options.

I'm personally using a 3GS with the newer boot loader running untethered and unlocked.

Jailbreak with Spirit. Unlocked by installing blacksn0w RC2 via cydia.
 
it's possible now. only the unlock is not released yet for 3.1.3 and probably won't be until after 4.0 is released.

go to spiritjb.com for an easy, untethered jailbreak even for 3.1.3
 
Ohk so a simple straight forward jailbreak can be done using Spirit for even the new boot rom now ? sorry if i still sound confused :ashamed:.
 
Do note that spirit does not include a unlock for any device be it 2G 3G or 3GS.

AFAIK, jailbreak is possible for all devices.

I'd recommend restoring to an unblemished copy of the OS before attempting a jailbreak.

I just JBed my ipod touch 3G 3.1.3 yesterday with Spirit ... flawless ... installed Installous and now I get everything for free :D
