D deep16 Inactive Contributor Apr 6, 2011 #1 i hav installed jdk from synaptic... in usr/lib/jvm there r 3 folders 1.default java 2.java 1.6.0 openjdk 3.java 6 open jdk now the problem is how to setup the path in ubuntu?? i hav done path setup in win 7 but duno in ubuntu... plz help guys..

BTW I'd suggest https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java method to install Java which handles these types of hassles automatically.
