This computer I'm talking about is really a friend's but the java program is really messed up. Whenever he opens Java's control panel the dialog box is missing some of the black lines in the text. Then when he opens up the java tab in the java control panel the display driver crashes and sometimes the dialog box "melts." So far he has uninstalled and reinstalled Java, as well as the display drivers, and the problem has yet to be fixed.
