JDS LABS Objective2 Headphone Amplifier (Missing) EDIT: Resolved

I ordered a JDS LABS O2 amplifier and adapter on Oct 10, 2013, through USPS First Class International. This is ordinary post. I chose this option since it was the cheapest (BIG MISTAKE).
The package arrived today, Oct 16, 2013, but to my dismay, the amplifier was missing. Only the adapter was there.
The outer package appeared intact or so I thought.
The amplifier packaging inside had been torn. The static cover in which the amplifier was packaged was torn. The bubble wrap out of its place. The adapter cover in which it packaged was torn and removed.
I went immediately to POST OFFICE (HAL 2ND Stage Bangalore) and complained to which they ignored their end of responsibility saying that they have not tampered with the package and may have been lost in transit or not sent at all.

Next I wrote a mail to JDS LABS to which the manager has kindly replied and will take further action.

Please tell me what more to do ?

I will post the photos in short a while of the tampered package.
 
If you paid using PayPal you have 45 days to claim that you didn't receive the product and ask for refund. But since JDS Labs must have shipped the product and product was lost / stolen in transit , I guess JDS Labs will have to take a loss by giving you refund or sending you the amp again.

You could probably offer JDS Labs some extra amount to ship a new amplifier only without the adapter via USPS Priority with tracking number.
 
FaH33m, Thanks for the reply, I am not doubting JDS LABS. I think the product was stolen in transit seeing the contents of packaging inside.

Yeah, the manager has replied to me and asked me forward a few details.

I am going to ask them to ship through FEDEX "insured and tracked."

This option I did not use since it was expensive almost equal to the product's cost guess my folly.

I am glad to inform you all, Just received my Objective O2 amplifier today.

Ordered through FedEx this time.

JDS really have a good customer service. Glad to deal with them anytime.

As noted, I ordered through USPS first time, I would be very careful about ordering through them again.
