Please share your experiences of online purchase for gold jewellery or is it better to go to non branded jewelers locally? Brother and I wants to buy a gold set (chain, bangles, finger ring and earrings) for mother and have no idea where to start (it was our fathers department). Is it the right time or should we wait a bit?

Bought things for wife/mom online it was too costly and appeared amazing in photos only.

Branded jewelers no no.
Making charges are too high.

Go with known reliable jewellery store/shops (its easy to sell back in future).
Get suggestions from relatives.
