Job options for my mom.

Hi guys ,
My mom wants to earn in a full time / part time job. What are the job options for her?
We lived in a joint family , but now 4 of us from my family live alone .
We have rental income so no problem for finances.
My mother says she wants to do something and earn now for her job satisfaction.
She is well versed in English and has good analytical & general knowledge .
She has no prior working experience . She was stock trading a few years back but stopped now.
She is planning on studying psychology now and become a counselor . She is also searching for better options.

I see lots of ads popping "earn 100$/day using google " and "Household mom make 3,00,000Rs per month". What is that? Is that some kind of a scam?

We live in Tamil Nadu.

If you have anything in mind , please suggest .

their is this project of tata sons where they give appropriate job for woman who wants to do second foray into career.
google for that.

I think at this stage it would mostly depend on what her interests are . Have a nice chat with her and ask her about what interests her. There is basically a job for everything , she should enjoy the job as well as earn money in it.

@raksrules - How come they use google's name without getting caught?

About the job , even something like small business type would do. All she wants to do a job for job satisfaction . Thanks for the info guys :)

why not ask her to make some paintings or handicrafts or learn some job like interior decoration? women are good in arts.
 
These types of ads are just to fool people so that they can trap them into their webs.
Apart google Adsense is genuine but for that you do alot of stuff...
Creating some website or blog ..minimum 6mnth old should be your website or blog.
And then you can apply for google adsense they will inspect and verify your sites and if your site is verified according to their terms and conditions then it will be activated and google ads will starting appearing on your blogs or websites .Then whole thing depends on your blog popularity and the traffic,more the traffic more the income its basically per per click on the ads sort of thing.....
I will say looking for you mom this is not an option to consider and the rest things like household mom make 3,00,000 rs. Per mnth are just to fool around nothing else...
 
If she likes to work on handicrafts let me know.

If she is fluent in english & work from home (with internet connection). I can provide teaching from home option.
 
Handicrafts is not her cup of tea and she wants a job to avoid cooking :D
She prefers administrative sort of jobs . Something that gives her a job satisfaction (having contributed something to the society).
@Praks - Can you give me more details on this "work from home job " ?

as i need to ask few question as how old is your mom, and what type of hobbies does she like

P.S my mom is already set up her own business past 1985-1990 year after i was born in physician handicap in hearing impatient, as she has stop the business long ago and focus on my work to improve how to speak and learn to talk well as of now i have improve it my life, but my mom refused does not want to take any more work or business in the future as she suffer many problem cause of mine that i have waste my life, AS it is long story that why she is retried at home taking rest at all

Teacher? I think that is a great job and would bring great satisfaction considering she is not looking at it as a means to meet ends.

A good teacher is always respected, irrespective of where you've met him/her.
 
Best would be to teach children at home. But parents these days will prefer someone with some teaching experience. As for schools, I find it hard to believe that they will hire a teacher without the necessary education qualification(B.Ed/M.Ed) and experience.

Best option that comes to mind is to find an administrative position in an office of someone you know personally. Because nearly everywhere else either they will ask for experience or the salary won't be worth the time or the experience.
 
Teaching at home for 1k per month for an hour or two, a group of kids, can be a good idea.

Or she can always go the entrepreneur route!

How will she be able to teach from home? Also any job should also be worth spending time. Atleast 10K+/month.
 
you know approaching any internet based thing as a job , although is a great ,but you will get bored in the long run and just not do it
instead if she had a hobby and started writing on that hobby or worked with that hobby , you will pass your time and in turn start generating money too and any money is always welcome

for instance , my better half started bloggin abt her interests in her spare time after office , and a year later she has 4 or 5 sponsors on her blog and generating a great amount of money ,which was just secondary

and another person i know ,started writing recipes on a forum and on her blog ,dont know how long she been doing it ,shes 76 now but she has a premium android app, done by her fans , has newspaper articles , shes like legend ,never her intention when she started


so ask your mom what she she likes to do or talk about , and start writing about it or discussing it , or start a youtube channel or a blog , give it 6 to 9 months ,you never know where it goes
