[OT] coincidentally, i just found funky's game reviews on Guru3D yesterday!
was surprised to know that funky dada has such an illustrious background... sheesh.. reviewing games for Guru3D.. awesome is all i can say!
nd yeah.. the author for all those articles was funkymonkey a.k.a shripad
so a return to funkymonkey n that awesome orange colored somthing avatar he used to have would be nice :)

It's not polite to address a part-time scarecrow as 'Hey scarecrow' na. :bleh:
And all our TE gurus are just the tips of icebergs that we see now.
They all have a claim to fame in something or the other- just not so visible/evident to all.
One thing we all could learn from them is humility.:cool2:

Ok.. the reason first..... I have been using pixelpusher pixelpainter and other pixel somethings for so long I am completely sick of it :P

I want to change it to either

Ouroboros

which is an ancient symbol depicted as a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle. It symbolizes ideas of cyclicality, unity, or infinity and rebirth cycle of life and death. The Ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism from many different cultures and religions.

or

Jörmungandr

This is a Norse incarnation or version of the Worm Ouroboros. The God Odin tossed Jörmungandr (Loki's child)into the great ocean that encircles Midgard. The serpent grew so big that he was able to surround the Earth and grasp his own tail, and as a result he earned the alternate name of the Midgard Serpent or World Serpent

So I want to kill off this old name and be reborn into my new one :P I am kind of leaning towards Jörmungandr, I think it has a nicer ring to it... what do you guys think?

OT: i've read about it. and wasn't Thor the only god who could lift the midgard serpen whom Loki mocked by deluding him to think was just a cat. :P

Infact you'll find the ouroboros symbolism in Firefox which was developed by some swiss developers. In addition to that, the cow easter eggs in mozilla applications refer to Audumbla who gave birth to Burr, the first Norse God.

Fascinating.

Huh... didn't occur to me but it makes sense.... actually you will find the worm Ouroboros in mentioned in the mythology/religion of many cultures.

For instance it is sometimes thought that it is also present in some Hindu folk-myths, as a snake (Adisesha) circling the tortoise Maha kurma that supports the eight elephants which support the world on their backs. But this is inconclusive since it does not swallow/eat it's own tail.

Coz most ppl call me muzux, that i hate.. muzu is my nick name & x2 is a monikor of AMD & ATI products wch i'm fan of.. Just want to have 'x2' divide from 'muzu' ..:D:
