Came across this game on Gamer TV and i was impressed. Basically the main premise of the game is allow for some really ridiculous stunts. Ofcourse the play area is 25-26 times bigger than Oblivion as well. The graphics are good enough and seem to be improving with every build of the game. The gameplay video taken at this e3 was totally awesome. The game is being developed by swedish developers Avalanche Studios and published by Eidos. Make sure you check out the gameplay videos alongwith the screenies as well..........

downloading the video now.....but the game looks good.... But again, like GTA, graphics dont seem to be it's selling point...... HL-2 still looks better :P
 
^^Yea but the scale of the game is soo huge(approx 250,000 acres :O) , the graphics also need to scale accordingly in order for the game to run on the lowest common denominator. Even so the game has some sort of a bloom effect, blur effect, incredible amounts of vegetation and some pretty textures.
 
I saw it,it's not bad..will have the same fun factor or even better than san andreas,I dun think there are any prostitutes in the game to regain your health.

With any luck,this game will attract jack thompson's attention and the congress just like how they are screwing bf2 now.
 
Don't think it'll be better than San Andreas, though. But should still be good.

@Mad: lol, why hope for Thomson to attack yet another game? Or is it the more he attacks the more closer he is to getting sniped out by some hardcore gamer? :P
 
@params: This game will have control mechanism explicity for doing stunts and in that aspect i think it'll be better than GTA. if the game is better in other aspects as well, it would be a winner imo.

It's the second one :P ..it's not only jack-ass but also the congress,they are now targeting bf2 which they claim are extremists trying to recruit kids by showing how fun it is :rofl: ..think on the bright side,if this game is being chased by jack-ass then it would be famous:D
 
Looks like very early aplha version of the game. Still lots of work to do, i need to see AA, but still looks cool. It reminds me one of those bad games like this which was released sometime back, GTA style gameplay in some jungle area. Uhh its the game where you go to rescue your daughter. Graphics were ok but everything else was so messed up.

I hope they manage the fluidity of the game well, cause every game isnt as fluid as the GTA games, they need to have some bad point in them.....

woah!!! How wrong I was!!! :P

Just saw the videos!!! They rock!!! The graphics are waaaaay better than GTA....

And the whole stunts part seems to be superbly done!!! I especially loved that grappling hook part....

Damn....here comes another game which wont work on my hardware :( :'(
