yes very crappy. sad gameplay
also bad gfx to complement the equally bad gameplay.

hmmm, IGN's given it an overall rating of 7.0, which is supposed to be decent.

On a side note, I love dimmu borgir if their album's where you got your nick from!

yes dimmu borgir owns. that is exactly where i got the nick from. although its not my fav album, the best album is "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia"

i think i am at the middle of it.To be honest gamespot bashed it saying it used the 'F' too much.If you ask me it has been designed liked a summer action flick.I never felt the usage of that word was too much till now.

conviction is also a bit similar to it would say.:D

completed kane and lynch.Well overall i would say gamespot really rated it badly though it has some flaws but still its a good game.

I thought it was a brilliant game. In fact, I have been pimpin' about it right from the time I had first played it. Never bothered checking Gamespot's review, or any other review for that matter. If only they could have crafted the sequel's story as intensely as this one, it would have worked wonders for the game.

The game could have been brilliant allwyn.:) But like i said it has some flaws.let me elaborate.
Lets keep the technical flaws aside.

The pros.
The story is simple and well crafted.
Lynch as a psychotic and funny character makes a nice companion.
From start to the end the simplicity was well maintained.
Nice musical score

The cons.
Inappropriate dialogues and profanity used at some places mostly towards the end.
Minor disjointed or confusing sequences as pointed out by me in tdf.
The climax was good but seemed bland. It could have been excellent i think if it was made a bit more melodramatic. The music mainly didnt fit the situation.(Of course i am saying about the real ending:))

The dialogues were raw and blended with their characters. I know a lot of people who would agree with you on the profanity front, but for me, I didn't feel it was ridiculously over done, like say, Bulletstorm or CoJ: The Cartel. The end was filled with revenge ridden aspect and so their dialogues got more aggressive. Given Lynch's psychotic state and Kane's loss of his wife, I could let go off profanity.

Those didn't hamper the storyline and were largely insignificant.

Both the endings provided you with a choice. Each bore it's consequences. The area where Rific and Shelly were trapped was ridden with a truck load of enemies, so it was evident that someone was bound to get hurt, or die. So the ending was completely plausible.

No you dont get it the ending was good. But the music to support it or to make it more prominent was lacking.
Eg...consider the ending of mafia.how the music, dialogues changes ....hope now you can understand.:)

as far as bulletstorm is concerned its a kick ass game! bam bam game over!.:D dialogues, story hardly matters over there. Its a complete entertainer type of game as i had already mentioned.

I was referring to this part "The climax was good but seemed bland. It could have been excellent i think if it was made a bit more melodramatic." I can't recall the music used in that situation, so can't comment.

What I meant was, profanity used in this game felt forced and un-necessary.

Anyways there was hardly any music.:D

Of course it was and was worse than kane and lynch too.But it got ignored due to the action filled gameplay(fast pacing).

I also have no problem with those F words used they all blended well with the situation. But take for eg Jenny's dialogue towards the end. There she uses the F word too much which was not that necessary.
