Security Software kaspersky firewall reducing download speeds

i have installed kaspersky internet secuirity suite with firewall,it seemed to be there is a reduction in download speed.does it happened to any one?
 
Actually it checks IP, files & source and this will take some time, but at same time you do not have to worry about any Virus, Trojan, fishing etc threats.

What to do to increase speed - disable some features - if still not - move to NOD32 (I will not recomeend NOD32 over Kaspersky)
