PC Peripherals Keyboard does not work in BIOS

I have both a PS/2 keyboard and a usb keyboard.I have tried both and they work perfectly while running the computer but it is not working with the bios can acess the bios by pressing the del key but after that it does not work.The keyboards run fine while running windows.

okay i figured out that the keyboard works with my old 8600gts but not with hd7850...what to do??

are there any other peripherals that is connected to your system like joystick or gaming controllers? i have experienced conflict before with wireless keyboard and joystick and found that the system gets confused in determining the primary controller.

First time i am coming across this weird thing that keyboard and video card conflict in BIOS
