Now the Lycosa is already an established good Keyboard. G15 is also good . But i have not much about the X6.

But if i had to go by looks alone ....THAT READ back-lighting LOOKS UBER-COOL!!
the design is also appealing ! :)
I know with the red light, its harder to see, but i can sacrifice that. :ashamed:

i have seen X6 inreal life, its looks better than the Pics !
so how do the other two look ?

So what about the X6 , at GEB i can get a good deal on X6 , around 4.5K.
Also does Microsoft hardware carry international warranty ?

If i missed a Keyboard , please list it as well.

Re: Keaboard for Gaming : Sidewinder X6 v/s Lycosa v/s G15

Buy the Logitech G110 for 3.5k or G15 for 4.5k locally or wait for the G510 to launch here

You can import a Saitek Cyborg v.7 too

Avoid the X6 & Lycosa (Both 3.5k locally) because laptop type buttons are not really good for gaming (I have a X6 & saw a Lycosa)

I ordered a Saitek Cyborg v.5 because I didn't want programmable buttons

Thanks for replying ,

Hmm, so the X6 aint that good for gaming!

i dont quite like the design of g110 and Alienware ! :(

hay these two have color changing backlight or there are diff. versions with different colors ?

I have a Razer Lycosa it is great keyboard, I haven't had issues but check out the New Razer Black-Widow as well ---

I bought the Lycosa cause it has a standard layout + fully macro-programmable < no extra buttons sadly > + Good back-light not jarringly in your face kind. In the end it is upto you and where you think you want to invest your money.

Lycosa has an annoying tendency to gather dust and finger-prints because of piano finish.

Re: Keaboard for Gaming : Sidewinder X6 v/s Lycosa v/s G15

Udit said the keys are like laptop keyboard's , thats what worries me !

i need a good response from the keys , thats most important in gaming !

Lets say i want to play a racing simulation game , the laptop type keys SUCK there! :(

About the black widow ! , i know i lOVE Mechanical keyboards ! , but gaming on mechanical keyboards ! :S

Re: Keaboard for Gaming : Sidewinder X6 v/s Lycosa v/s G15

In mechanical keyboard there is no question of lag < or ghosting >. I have used the Lycosa for all the common game genres < SIMULATION, RTS, RTT, RPG and FPS > and frankly speaking its never let me down :). In the end it is your comfort zone bruv and more importantly your money so your call.
