keypad warranty??

Wel the keypad of my thinkpad has gone bonkers and s gvin me a lot of nghtmares. It just fails to regster many of the keystrokes even f i type properly........... I did not play a lot of games or anything....

what I want to know is..

1)is the keypad under warranty???(my laptop is 6 mnthsold)

2)is there any way to maintain ur laptop keypad??

Yup it should be under warranty. Try not to hit the keys on a notebook keyboard too hard. They are meant for gentle touch typing.
