Kimi Raikkonen for Ferrari!

Reports (or say rumours) are there that McLaren No.1 driver Kimi Raikkonen will be on top of Ferrari's shopping list once Michael Schumacher retires (it might be this season itself if he fails to retain the championship). McLaren won't give up easily and will try their best to keep Kimi within McLaren. Ferrari sporting director is very impressed with this young flying Fin. So, yet again we might have Ferrari vs McLaren and this time off the racing track and that too for a title....and that is? Yea, u guessed it...Kimi Raikkonen, probably the best young driver around (without any disrespect to Fernando Alonso).

That wud be great...Infact both Kimi and Alonso should end up in Ferrari..who knows we might have a battle like Prost vs Senna when they wrere in Mclaren.

till schumi retires? man, he'll probably race till he has all his teeth removed and has dentures. hehehe. ofcourse with Rubens 'Butler' Barichello in tow to do all his handy work.

KIMI most naturally will beat schumi to retirement this time. Its but natural for ferrari to go after him... But one thing is certain KIMI will prevail :P

Maybe Ron Dennis was keen on MS joining McLaren but We're not keen on Kimi joining Ferrari.. :tongue: but still if McLaren doesn't get reliable with the car, Kimi mite just make the move at very first opportunity.
 
Well...... that would be truly amazing. And Alonso at Ferrari would make an unbeatable combo.

Hope it comes true. But not before 2007. As I want Schumi to win 2 more.
 
Man MS sucks, a Race of any kind shud be between the drivers unlike the teams budget or technical know-how, ferrari clearly outshines other teams in budget and by a margin in technical know-how, thats why they have been a successful team, and that is *also* the prime reason for MS' success over the years.
 
What are you saying, if everyone is forced to use the exact same chasis/engine, every team will automatically have to work with the specs of the poorest teams on the grid, unless a donation system is started to bring the minardi's and jordan's upto par.

You want it to become cartracing or what.
The differences in machinary are half the fun.

What I made out from your post is ferrari is better because they have a higher budget and excellent technical knowhow AND all this is somehow bad and a fault on their part.

And team budget means nothing, look at toyota.
 
toyota btw is not spending a hefty amount... atleast nowhere close to ferrari.
As it is not everyone is gonna be making a queue to join ferrari. Every team has its ups and downs. I am sure Mclarn will come back strong. Even renault is pretty good these days.(till last year williams was looking strong)
By 2007 ferrari.. based on current form may be competing for karthikeyan allright :P alas the competitors might be minardi and jordan :tongue:
