Kind support needed Form All MX5021 pride onwers

Hi friends,
I purchased Altec Lansing MX-5021 on 20.6.2009 from PC GUIDE lamington Road Mumbai for Rs. 6750. Every thing was OK till Jan 2010 end.
From Feb 2010 I noticed voice cracking if sound level goes approx 85% and above.
On 9.3.2010 I deposited it for repair (since it was in warranty period up 19.6.2010 ) to rashi service centre at lamington road. After continues follow up from last one week today he invited me for speaker. i went he gave me new piece of MX 5021 full set But before leaving I thought just check it so I for sake of safety purpose. when he checked new set also has same problem then he changed both satellite speaker with new one but problem of voice cracking or blurring was not resolved then he said if you not satisfied with new one then we will refund you Rs 5700 through cheque i said my purchase price was Rs 6750 he said currently this amount will be reimbursed to you as per company new rate since this product was discontinued we will not going to import new lot. He said you talk to your vendor (PC guide) then tell me. Then I go to pc guide he said you say give me my speaker and he give me one no said you talk to them tomorrow may he will help you.

NOW I want suggestion from you people.
1. What should I do?
2. Have your mx 5021 also same problem (I mean to say it common or what)
3. Music is my weakness
4. If it not resolved can i go for AE5 or please suggest me what I do

Whatever speaker may it be, when you go more than 85% you are bound to notice some disturbance.

Dont need to get ir replaced or anything.

I have never driven my MX-5021 beyond 60-70% volume , so I am not sure if the issue you are talking of is particular to your set or normal. 85% volume sounds insane :S.

Infact even 60-70% volume is like too loud on the 5021's and more than enough to shake my neighbours house. I usually listen at 30-50% of the volume depending on the recording/quality of MP3/FLAC file.

Incase you are not satisfied with your purchase and feel you can't be happy with the speaker set even after 2-3 replacements , then I suggest you take a refund and go for better alternatives .This could also be a result of the compromise on quality in the newer MX-5021 sets.

If you need to crank it to 85% volume, you need new speakers (and soon enough, new ears), there is nothing wrong with the MX.
