Please use this thread to share any Kindle hacks you have come across.
I was content with whatever my Kindle 3 came with by default - till I came across Duokan. I installed it just 5 minutes back. I am pretty impressed by it, and that's why I immediately wanted to share it here.
Installing it is very simple. The whole process will be over in less than 5 minutes, most of the time taken for the Kindle reboot. You will have your default Kindle firmware along with this, and you can choose between the two. The only disappointment I have as of now is that Duokan doesn't seem to show Kindle bookmarks and notes. But for pdf reading, this seems to be better. Not to mention the extra formats supported.

I followed this one to install: Duokan – the alternative Kindle OS – in english – flip's
