Microsoft has announced the availability of its popular motion sensing camera Kinect for Windows along with its software development kit ( SDK ) .

The kinect for Windows is currently intended for developers and businesses who want to utilize high-tech features like skeletal tracking, face tracking, enhanced speech recognition , seated mode and near mode to create games and apps .

Kinect for Windows is now available in India for Rs 19,990 along with SDK . It can be ordered through Microsoft retailers . The SDK can be downloaded from here

About the gaming part. Whats up with that? Will support new titles? or any workaround with older ones?
 
I think I'll have to wait for the next generation of Kinect to be excited, was so pumped for this, but not worth the hype it seems.
