Kinect vs Wii vs psp: Big Confusion!!

Hey guys,
I just happen to give away my newly bought psp2004(used n cracked) to my brother and now I'm looking for a new console. I happen to have a Xbox 360 Core model cracked with Ixtreme 1.51 . But now I'm looking for something bit different than normal routine gaming.
What should I go for?

1. Xbox Kinect- Since I already have a Xbox, this could be a good addon what say? Kinect users is it worth to get one? Is it possible to run kinect games on 1.51 by patching it to wave3?

2. Wii -Something different than Xbox. Solely for motion gaming. But I'm bit Lazy so I'm confused how much I'll use these two.

3. psp 3004/psp GO: Since these are newly cracked and have better screen than 2004, should I go for this? I can use this to play games while roaming, but I don't roam that much(normally go out with frnds) so it worth to go for it? Most of the time I would be at home.So something to play at home.

Just want something to pass time.
Please help.
Dont have a budget for ps3+move unless someone is planning to sell it for 10k:bleh:

2. What kind of games do you play? Imo the Wii is a lot of fun but only if it fits your genre of gaming.

3. Absolutely not. With the 3DS and PSP2 around the corner, it would be suicide to buy a newer PSP especially when you are used to the older PSP2000 series as theres not that much of a difference.

Another thing which you should give some thought too is the itouch 4G. Its something different and its got quite a decent application and gaming platform.

Thanks a lot for the reply... I normally play Sports, Racing and RPG games.
I just bought used psp2000 about month back and used it for say 7-8hours before I gave it ....I played God of war: chain Olympus and burnout dominator to some extent on psp...
I'm looking to buy used Wii or psp3000 or new Kinect...I have already mailed different ppl for deals in market section/ other forums..

But still confused what to get...How is Wii on HD TVs and normal TVs..

Psp2 and Nintendo 3DS will be launched after 6-8 months I guess and it would take another 10 months for price to settle.

So Whats your suggestion?

Well you should get those kinda games on the Wii so that shouldn't be an issue.

If you got fed up of the PSP2000 so easily then I expect you'll face the same dilemma again as there are hardly any changes to the PSP3000 or PSP Go as far as the core PSP platform is concerned. Plus with the PSP gaming scene dying and the PSP2 around the corner ... I don't think getting one would be a good idea at all.

Wii looks great on an HD TV. Good use of colours but again the graphics can't touch the Xbox360/PS3 with a 10 foot bamboo pole, but still a larger screen is more fun and you have a better idea wrt movements (although the stock Wii controller is fully based on wrist movement afaik). Remember the Wii is a fun console, don't expect amazing visuals or realistic gameplay with this. I know a friend who sold his Wii off simply because it didn't appeal to him. If you can try out a Wii somewhere (like Landmark @ Palladium - Mumbai) then try it. Also watch a few game demonstration videos and see if it appeals to you.

And it would be well worth the wait for the PSP2/3DS considering the PSP2 is going to be a portable PS3 ( :O ) and the 3DS is going to have amazing 3D visuals.

I'd also try out the Apple itouch 4G if I were you ... :)
 
Didn't get fed up with psp...my brother liked it so he took and told me get another one :(....

I hardly had any chance to play it..Btw when is the planned release date of psp2 n 3ds?Q3/Q4?
 
bro if you dont fancy motion gaming keep the molah and get the 3ds itself.i was nearly in similar situation a week ago.but in the end i decdided to save for the 3ds which is quite frankly looking awesome.
 
Yea but its going to take 4-5months it comes to India...Plus price would be atleast 15k...I'm looking for something till 10-11k...

A more query...one of the guys offered me a XBOX Pro version with HDMI(he is not sure whether its Jasper)

How do I check if its jasper?

Its about 6months old.

Seller is not sure either.

Please help!!

A have XBOX Core and want to replace it with Arcade/jasper model.

Mainly no RROD and want HDMI port to play on my Bravia 40EX400
 
i would not recommend kinnect currently , there has not been much support for kinnect yet! so may be later.

as of now i will recommend WII , super mario galaxy 1 and 2 must not be missed ! :D

and there are a lot more games !

The ampere rating for the Jasper is 12V - 12.1A:5V.
Rating for the older Falcon is 12V - 14.2A:5V.
This can be found to the right of the barcode (just above the Made in China label :P) on the body of Xbox 360.

Just ask the guy to first check it, without informing him first. :cool2:

next year in india for PSP2

near Q3 or Q4 india for 3DS
