I recently got the GOM Player on recommendation of a friend who worked for a while in korea. It pretty much does everything kmp does but has a somewhat prettier menu system and skins.
Anyone else used it long enough? Is this actually better than kmp?
GOM cannot compete with KM on the video quality front. Played the same video on both the players, GOM's was all dull, whereas KM had the perfect colors and brightness.
did you keep default settings on both? coz gomplayer also has all the similar settings. also it doesn't freeze up as long a time as kmp does when you try to play a broken avi file etc.
Yup deafault settings on both.
Uninstalled GOM player already. KM gave a better performance.
Also, GOM needed CoreAAC codec KM gave the output via inbuilt codecs itself.
