Audio Koss ur55 -Is it worth buy @ 1.9k from global easy buy ebay.in route.

First thing I don't know about safe or not, but until now whatever products I've checked out on global buy were much more expensive than what they should be..

Customs n taxes AFAIK are all included in global easy buy.. The mentioned prices is till your doorstep. You may read the faq of global buy for being sure about thus

I called up their customer support & they mentioned its final pricing shipped to my Mumbai address. They also mentioned one month refund guaranty in case the product is faulty.
Now just worried how durable are these KOSS UR55!!. :nailbiting:
Hope the product is Genuine & not some FAKE look alike:confused:
 
Global easy buy is just some reseller selling a US product. Search indian listing for the item number of the US product.. And check out the item on eBay USA..

Have bought couple of mobiles from GEB.Ebay.in, delivered by same i2c.
First order was delivered in a week. Second one was ordered last night. hope it will also also not take more than 7 days.
 
Koss UR55 are pretty good for under 2k , SQ wise .. infact super VFM I say . Very nice airy open sound , sweet mids with decent treble and solid bass which is not too overwhelming . Only downside is like most Koss products ,the UR55 is pretty flimsy and feels like cheap plastic. Should last long if good care is taken :).

EDIT : looking at the original listing , it seems like a brand new returned product . Nothing to worry about .

Finally the parcel arrived...
Initial impression - Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Nice & tight bass punch, not at all overwhelming or overshadowing other frequencies, smoother midrange & highs do not pierce into ears, Open & Airy sounding.
Cons- The pleather earpads which heats up the ears, had to adjust after 30-45 mins. Poor packaging & doubtful build quality but can survive for years to come if taken care properly. These are semi open cans so sound will leak.

Could not resist them. Eyes were sleepy but Ears wide awake

Opened the parcel around 12 midnight but had to put them back in drawer @2.30 am as the Nationite's battery died.
