The much-hyped movie Krrish...termed the First Indian Superhero...Well I wonder why an Indian Superhero is doing all the good work in Singapore in the movie...Anyways leave the movie even some of the publicity posters have been copied....

and turned out even singapore in the movie was an AD. :S

The guy in the PIC is ANNiyan....ANd Mr. I-am-very-original-Hrithik was saying that he spent more than 2 months thinking about the MASK...Dude come on lie within limits...
 
Guys, chill.....

EVERY superhero has comparisons to others...... Coz the west has already explored all sorts of types and genres.... people born with superpowers(superman), people getting superpowers(Spidey), people with no super powers per se but still being superheroes(Batman and Phantom...the ghost who walks)....

It is inevitable that any "new" superhero created will bear some sort of resemblance to an existing superhero.

Give credit where it is due. The Roshans more or less created a new superhero. Unless you can prove that Krissh has the EXACT same qualities and powers and characteristics of ONE SINGLE superhero, he is original.

If you start comparing one character you want to diss to 100 other characters, it is always easy.

If I compare one of your posts to somebody else's and dissect it and analyse it from alphabet to alphabet and from punctuation to punctuation, I could say that you are copying a 100 other people......

So, give credit where it is due.
 
Hey come on man....INDIAN SUPERHERO must be a person who does his superhero work in INDIA....Why is the director taking us on a Singapore tour if its movie about an INDIAN superhero....??

Also as u said credit must be given to Rakesh Roshan for trying something new....but still y lie?.....Even during Koi Mil Gaya...he had lied about the alien being a robot......Come on dude we Indians are not stupid...Just cos ET was a mechanical robot does not mean JADOO has to be a robot as well.....I pity the guy who braved the heat and his own body odour by staying in the JADOO suit...Poor guy was not given credit....
 
As much as a stupid film Krrish will be, its gets the Kudos for being one of the first 'original' superheroe film of Bollywood (Ofcourse, ignoring that flick with Govinda playing Superman). It is trying something entirely new never been attempted before, and that's where originality comes in.

@ Nikhil I agree with you for where the credit is due to the Roshans.... but then I agree that they should have shot the movie in india...

I guess it cos Singapore gave the roshans financial help as well as license to shoot for free.. hence they were saving up on cost of production
 
@hmasalia ---- exactly....why the heck do people make films?? to make money..... if the Indian govt does not give them some help/concessions but the SG govt does, obviously they would shoot there.

who everyday gets such an idea
what if something is even copied
atleast it is presented in a whole lot of a new way
the action scenes depicted give gud competition to Hollywood
n India??!!! it is unanimously uglier than Singapore
with no suppoprt to an IT chairman who wanna buils a computer to see future
the idea may be old but the movie is NEW
sigh!!!!!

Well I haven't seen the movie yet so i don't know whether the SINGAPORE setting was needed in the plot.....I am not saying that i don't give credit to the Roshan's...He must have done something good with the movie or must have totally screwed it..The point is why should HE compare it with HOLLYWOOD....No matter what he does, his movies are not gonna look better than the Hollywod Sci-FI movies.....They have the budget to make every strand of hair on STUART LITTLE look real and we don't.....So why not be honest to himself and say that he has made a movie which stands by itself and not in comparison with HOLLYWOOD movies...He is the one who says things like " Even my movie is not far behind in SFX department" when asked whether he sees Superman as a threat to his Box Office drawings....Oh come on!!!

:hap2: :clap: We can only praise him for trying somethinh new and breaking the mould.

But its not an all out Superhero movie....Its a love story of a Superhero....When trying something new, why not go all out and try something other than the Ghissa Pitta Boy-meets-girl-then-girl-leaves-only to-be-found-again-by-the-hero.....Anyways all u Roshan fans out there, no need to get offended...Even I am a fan of his movies...I had liked Koi Mil Gaya...Its just that whatever genre he wanders into be it, all his movies will still be plain old Bollywood Masala flicks...We Indians, including me,love these movies, but he would be kidding himself to think that the international audience is gonna relish it...
 
Heh Roshan doesnot have a Mathematical Power

Maybe he should ask Jadoo to help him out.

And If he has another son he`ll become Einsten (true power which were hidden in his father will emerge in his son). Heh Heh
