hey guys,
just completed season 1 today ( got it from lan :D) and i must say i am speechless ! this thing is so mesmerizing.. i mean everytime i start a new episode, its like this will be the last one for today..but the endings always led me to the next..
will start watching season 2 asap. My favorite character is definitely without a doubt 'Sawyer' :hap2:

let me know your opinion abt the series..

I think season 2 is not really as good as the previous one . Season 3 is nice and from what i see season4 is also going great .

Yeah its quiet captivating..
But i think its too slow...
Series likes Heroes and Prison Break are 10x faster..
Even now wen im finishing season 2, i dont really feel that the story has actually moved forward..
N yeah im in the same position as u, watch 3-4eps per day:ohyeah:
Cant help it..
For me:-
1) Heroes:ohyeah: :ohyeah:
2) Prison Break:ohyeah:
3) Lost & Terminator -The Sarah Connor Chronicles..:)

Season 1 - Best , Very Interesting...
Season 2 - Crap
Season 3 - Crappier
Season 4 - Crappiestttt.. I dunno where thier plot is going, Just trying to churn out nonsensical stupid episodes..

If u lik prison breaks, then Heroes is for you..:ohyeah: ..You'l love it..

Lost is sort of less dramatic turn arounds but still u keep glued to it..

Heroes:

Arguably the most talked-about television show of the 2006-2007 season, the Emmy-nominated fantasy Heroes gives viewers blends comic book-style adventure with plotting and characters as rich and layered as any graphic novel or drama series. Creator Tim Kring's premise is deceptively simple – ordinary individuals in locations around the globe discover that they have, for lack of a better term, super powers, and wrestle with this reality while facing challenges both global (the destruction of New York City, for one) and personal (indestructible cheerleader Hayden Panetierre has family issues – serious ones, as the true identity of her adoptive father reveals; Milo Ventimiglia's Peter Petrelli, who absorbs other powers, must overcome his own insecurities). Add to this mix a terrific villain – Zachary Quinto's Sylar, who hunts and kills people with extraordinary powers like our heroes – and viewers have a riveting series that exhibits an almost-perfect balance of cliffhanger thrills (the action and special effects are truly impressive for a network program) and genuine drama that sets the show apart from most speculative fiction (save, perhaps, the revived Battlestar Galactica, which it compares too favorably).

Prison Break:

Season one of Prison Break is great television. Here's the set-up. Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is framed and wrongfully convicted for assassinating the Vice President's brother. Lincoln's brother Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), who just happens to have designed Illinois' Fox River Penitentiary where Lincoln is on death row, hatches an elaborate escape plan. Michael's plan involves getting himself incarcerated in Fox River and smuggling the prison's blueprints by having them hidden in tattoos that cover his entire torso. Once inside, Michael must form alliances with a rogue's gallery of felons with their own sometimes unsavory motives. Meanwhile, on the outside, Lincoln's lawyer and one-time girlfriend Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney), pursued by Secret Service agents, attempts to unravel the conspiracy that sent her man to the slammer.

Prison Break is anchored by tight, suspenseful writing clearly relished by the largely little-known cast. Standouts include Robert Knepper as the murderer/pedophile T-Bag, who somehow makes such a despicable character likeable. Stacey Keach of Mike Hammer fame plays the warden-with-a-heart-of-gold, who clashes with Captain Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) over whether to rehabilitate the inmates or makes their lives more miserable. Peter Stormare, famous for his skills with a wood chipper in Fargo, turns in a deliciously menacing performance as mob boss John Abruzzi, while Amaury Nolasco's winsome Fernando Sucre shares a cell and secrets with Miller's Scofield. Watching the show one gets a sense that this is the opening salvo of Wentworth Miller's career, which will doubtless include roles as assassins, detectives, super heroes, and perhaps the champion of staring contests. Midway through the season it's explained that Scofield is a genius with an heightened sensitivity to other peoples' suffering, which sums up what makes the show so great--the mind-bendingly intricate plot is a framework for moments when people make others suffer and cope with the burden of their own suffering.

Prison Break is my favorite...

^^

Arre i read it re.. Story seems interesting But thie representation is out of sync.. You don't feel the thrill of 1st season anymore...

Season 1 was awesome! Didnt see the rest cause my friends said it sucked. So shifted to Prison Break and OMG! One of the best series on TV IMHO

Dunno may be i lost my interest after they started draggin the story in 2nd season or whatever..its going too slow and that might be the reason i am not liking it..Besides they keep on introducing new characters with abrupt connections.. Just to make a fancy storyline..

Also most of my friends that follow lost have had similar opinions with the exception of some (who dont watch anything else apart from LOST,PB,Heroes ) Also i have got better alternatives that i prefer against LOST so i dont even feel like watching it :P

- Daybreak*
- Burn Notice*
- E-Ring*
- New Amsterdam
- In Justice*
- Justice
- Conviction*
- Eyes
- Evidence*
- Six Degrees
- Spooks
- Hustle*
- Killer Instict
- Drive*
- Eureka
- Inside Man

* - My fav's :D

Can't remember others as feeling sleepy right now :bleh:
Its mixed bag of Scifi, Murder Mystery, Action , Thriller , Legal Drama

And cheesy college life drama - i like only 2 of those

- One Tree Hill (Best so called 'soap' i have ever seen. If you can handle this genre, highly recommended from 1st season ;) )
- Greek

In Comedy

- How I Met Your Mother (Pwns everything), Atleast current season is hilarious
- Carpoolers (Decent)

If you are curious about any show, the best way is to checkout Plot and Wikipedia. Every series is posted there. Dont read complete article as often its full of spoliers. That might give you rough idea whether you will like that show or not ;)

Also dont keep this misconception that if the show is cancelled by Network that means its a stupid show, some of the best shows got cancelled even before they were famous - Jericho [Cancelled but brought back on Public Demand] , Daybreak , Drive , Traveler , Six Degrees.

And PB and 24 are always interesting :D

(Last season of Heroes sucked too  )
