Hi

can u guys let me know of difference b/w NIC,s labelled as
PCI nd PCIe
Likewise mine abit ip 35 pro is labelled as RTL8169PCI
Some mobo, s i see r labelled as RTL8169PCIe

plz let me know all the differences:clap:

PCI is where your NIC card/sound car goes in
PCIe x16 is where your gfx card go in

Ofcourse, there is a lot of difference in bandwidth. Google them for numbers

Also, the bandwidth of PCI = PCIe x4

DUHH!..dude, get ur facts straight

there are already PCIe sound cards

PCI E has multi formats i thin, x1, x16 etc

x 16 is only for graphics
x1 is used by pcie sound cards

there may be more, you need to google before posting unclear info
