Hi old boys, I am back. :)

Need to freeze on a Laptop on the morning of 27th. Seen most of the threads in this fora, guess I need something of a less geeky, but more of a professional stuff:

* Budget: Not more than 40K
* Primary Usage: Office apps, client presentations, surfing, show-off to clients :P
* A 15" screen will do, should not be a Celeron proccy though
* Any brand can go, would prefer Compaq, Acer or Dell though
* Battery life should be good, and deligent post-sale service
* Where to buy in Delhi? Just any dealer or only authorized centers?

Gentelmen, any help you could extend would be much appreciated. :)
 
Compaq presario core solo proccy, 60gb hdd, 512mb ram, ...... is avaailable from 37 onwards .. well thts wat i get under employee discount catch one of ur friends who work for HP in Delhi if u were in Bangalore i could have helped u .

If u want details on the model i can help u r8 now i gotta run home.
 
After sales is 50/50, Build quality is questionable though as most budget configs form Acer come with a weak outer shell apart form being prone to slight cracks the paint comes off easily.

Please check out the laptops personally before you buy them and especially for build quality after the config part of it, IBM thinkpads and HP pavillion series have a sturdy built.

Also a core solo proccy based lappy within 40k is more lucrative than a celeron cuz computing power is never future proof.
