CPU/Mobo Lappy around 60K...

Suggest me a decent lappy around 60K... I remember reading about one with wide screen and with a good onboard GFX for 45K or so... I have to buy one from Delhi... So dont suggest me something which isnt available here... One with decent battery life...Kidda like desktop replacement...

Look for the Acer Travelmate 4600 series.... Comes with a dothan and a mobility X700. Should be good enough for most purposes.

^^^ Best VFM and a steal by indian standards. Initially it was the same was priced at 67k but someone said its been quoted in newspapers for 57k, but with the carry case and taxes i assume it would be around your budget.

Yep, that's easily your best option. But it only comes with 256MB of memory, so don't forget to count in the cost of an additional 256MB stick.

i had bought acer travelmate 4102 wlmi for 50 k from singapore , enquire about it at acer here if they still produce it. Great lappy.

Only the ones listed on the Acer India site are available, generally all those widescreen laptops even in entry level laptops are not available in india.
