I want to buy a laptop, preferably i7 + FHd screen and good gfx card ... I don't mind going for xps 15 but they have screwed up the things by using 540M ... Which its the best bet for 70k ? I'm open to all brands ... Note: it will be used for medium gaming and lots of browsing ...

I think Dell XPS 15 serves your purpose of Medium gaming and browsing ! I would suggest

i7 + 4GB or 6 + 500 + 1Tb External + Lappy Bag + GT 540M + Plus that FHD Screen \m/

Buy the Bag and 1Tb from other sources .

Since the OP is not too keen on Nvidia GT540M in XPS 15, I would suggest the MSI GX660. 75k

15.6 1920x1080

AMD HD5870 1GB

Bluray Drive

Intel Core i5 480m

500gb 7200 rpm HDD

Win 7 HP 64 bit

There are some other models but I do not have the specs and pricing right now, I will update the post as soon as I get some info.

UPDATE: No other model in your budget with a better GPU.

So

1) Get the XPS 15 as the above two members suggested

2) Sacrific FHD screen and get HP DV6 6017TX with AMD 6770

3) MSI GX660

4) Increase your budget and get Dell XPS 17 3D for 85k with i7 2720qm, bluray, FHD 3D, Nvidia GT555M OR

5)Alienware M14x for the same 85k with i7 2630qm and Nvidia GT555M (1600x900 screen, not FHD)

6) Get a kick ass gaming laptop from US through any friend/acquaintance

^^Absolutely no overheating issues. Even in Kolkata's heat. I have couple of friends to vouch for the same. AMD 5870m is supposed to get hot while playing. Thats about it.

Wont go for second hand ones man, especially for that kind out budget... Don't any company have sandybridge + good gfx + fhd screen ? come on, I'm not asking too much ...

You will have better options at 90k price bracket. At 70k there arent many options am afraid, else i would have brought one for myself :P

Check MSI's warranty policy before buying. If you are ok with sending the laptop for repair on your own cost then go ahead with it.

From 50k to 85k there are only two laptops with SB CPU + 1gb GPU + FHD and both cost no more than 60k :)

So 70k isn't really going to get you much, I suggest wait some more months or increase your budget to 85k and get Alienware M14X or Dell XPS 17
