Hi all,

Starting this thread specially to discuss all about laptop accessories..

You can talk about USB mouse, Keyboards, Laptop LCD cleaners, USB lights,
LCD scratch protectors, Laptop coolers, Laptop cables, etc etc... list goes on..

As of now I am looking for two items

--> Laptop Screen Protectors for LCD & Top of it as well.
--> Vacuum Cleaner (USB or Normal Hand blow kit)

Here is what I have found till now.. Please share your view on it if you have used these products..

Vacuum Cleaner
Mainly used to clean laptop vents.. which one to take from these ?

i dont know about screen protector.

But i definitely plan on buying one of those vaccum cleaners.

only thing being, i am waiting for reviews.

so if anyone has used such cleaner, kindly share your experience.

There is a local vendor near my house, he provides lamination for laptops. Do you think full custom lamination would be a nice option as compared to screen guard?
 
i dont know about the laptop screen guards but usb vaccum cleaners for laptops are nothing but a joke ,

totally useless item , waste of money

these are all cheap china products , some of them even have a led light to it , totally waste , they wont vaccum up anything at all from ur laptop ,

manual cleaning of the laptop with a cloth and maybe a toothbrush is a better idea

i am saying all this after having bought one usb vaccum cleaner for 70 bucks , these are available in chor bazaar for 40-50 bucks easily

Lamination are bad. Prefer shield cover. I am getting all kind of LCD protector in Ebay but none to protect top surface of laptop :( Any ideas ??

Don't purchase the cheap vacuum cleaners!!!

I bought this for Rs.100 yesterday:

It is the most useless product ever... All it does is make noise... It cannot even dislodge one particle of dust! It has two speeds which have no difference! And it also has a red LED for god-knows-what. It is sold with a "No warranty and return" policy.

I have never come across a shield cover for the lid, lamination is all I have heard.
How much is a good shield cover for?
do these things (shield cover, vacuum cleaner,usb led light) really have that much effective utility?

i have a vacuum cleaner got it for 130rs. the exact same model as above with the exact same colour. it doesn't work as long as you don't improvise it. it does make a lot of noise and does nothing. it works if you can improvise it a bit. will post pictures later to show the improvisations i made which sort of made it work somewhat.

i stayed away from screen protectors--bcoz its way too damn expensive.

What I really, really want to find and buy - compressed air cans. I have two left over from my last trip to the U.S. and I use them.

I was about to purchase that from ebay. Crap will not even touch those USB Vacuum cleaner. Let me take simple blower with manual work.

Here is what I found from Zagg - Shield for Laptops. hmm around 1800 Rs

Pretty costly, lets see if We can grab it around 800 to 1000 Rs.

I'm buying a Dell 14R,soI'min for one too..If it fits perfectly..Also I have a Zagg 40% coupon, and they have coupons upto 50 ! So on a bulk deal we can ask for a 50..
