hi!
i need a 13.3 inch laptop--no 14/15/12 specifically 13.3 inches.
should have a good cpu.should come with atleast a 320gb hdd and should have a discrete video card.and it should have very good battery life--even with the video card.
i can spend upto 75 thousand.
the most important criteria of the laptop -- should be extremely well built and should take loads of crashes and bumps.
software it should be capable of running--vb/visual studio/php etc
photoshop/maya/vm-ware and hd movies and some gaming (read cod4/nfs shift)when i am in some remote area of india trekking/hiking.
i was interested in the dell latitude but it is way too expensive for the base configuration and comes with 1gb of ram.
brands i don't want--HP/compaq/acer.

also what would be a good silent cooling solution for my 939 AMD Opteron 175(dual core)@2.2ghz stock and running @ 2.63ghz overclocked with the stock cooler?--its way too loud.

the xps 13 isn't well built.i have seen it/used it.

i am looking for a professional level laptop--not the general consumer level stuff.

i wanted the dell latitude or some brand which has equally good build quality--the emphasis here is on build quality along with performance.i don't care about flashy looks--plain simple bland looks are what i want.

any other advice??

anything about a good nice silent 939 cpu heatsink?
 
Buy Lenovo Thinkpad.. Strong built and heavy...

you can use it / abuse it , seldom break down...

i doubt it will be available in 75K but you can always call and check out... buy the one with auxiliary battery ... backups up to 20 hrs...

one of the unobivious advantages of this laptop is

if you got a good arm can be use as a deadly weapon ... sure will knock your opponent out i mean these laptops are heavy man... and the best part it will do more damage to the recievers skull than to itself... great for personal protection for guys always on move...
