Laptop battery for msi cr400

Hello guys, need to get a battery for my lappy as it has worn out. Windows 7 indicates that there is a problem with my battery and i its time to consider for a replacement. I am in Chennai.. Can any of you guide me on where i can get the best one for a good price??

If you are ok with non original batteries then you can check ali express etc websites which usually ship worldwide.
 
I am ok with non-orginal ones provided they give good backup and have longevity.. Is it possible to get one in Singapore for cheap ??
 
Today i noticed one thing strange. When i logged into Windows Enterprise 8, there is no indication that the battery has to be replaced. By default windows 8 has notification to indicate when the battery suffers a failure is enabled, right ?. Or should i enable this ? If so where ?

In windows 7 ultimate it suggests to replace the battery though it charges fully. But most of the time i use AC power and very rarely the battery. So i cant come to a conclusion if the battery has started failing or not...

please advice
 
Disable All Warnings and Try "Full Charge and Discharge" by creating "New Power Plan". If you able to get more than 20 mins, than no use to replace, as per your requirement.
 
use hw monitor pro to check the status of your battery wear. also if you contact msi-india you can deposit money in their account and have them ship the battery from taiwan with 1 yr warranty. that's what i did for my msi cr400x. The rates earlier this year were 4800 for 9 cell and 3600 for 6 cell or something. BTW the MSI cr400x is still such a brilliant laptop - my laptop has been running awesome since 2009 when i got it and it runs faster than my office dell kitted with core i3 and 4gb ram.
