I wish to purchase a laptop for my daughter she uses this for Basically web surfing- some MS word work-watch DVD's . budget is about 20k- only thing i see around is one from Future Bazaar Acer AS 4315 NWXCI Laptop

Mobile Intel Celeron M 530 512MB DDR2 667MHz Intel 960 GL 14.1" WXGA Mobile Intel GM965 Express chip set Intel GMA X3100 DVD+CDRW 24x Combo Drive 6 cell batt.
On paper it is looking OK considering the end use but there is no review that i can locate any where.
Need advice- also member's input on ACER. & on Future Bazaar.
 
Yup it is the cheapest Basic_Use lappy you can find. The specs are good enuf for the price. Go for it.
 
NO increase budget by 5k and search hard for dual cores...TOtally no use in buying this..Obsolete technology...
I hav seen and read abt 25k lappys from acer, zenith, and even lenovo(!!!!)...so please search hard..it can make huge difference..
