CPU/Mobo laptop cpu temperature high

Dear friends i just checked that the cpu temperature of my laptop reaches upto 73c constant when running demanding apps

otherwise it is around 36-37c idle @720mhz fsb-90x8mhz due to speedstep

i checked with core-temp and everest

i have a T9300 cpu penryn 45nm

isnt it supposed to be less power hungry?

my question is is the load temperature ok?

or i should do something abt it?
 
always remember to keep it on a hard surface with some space around it for airflow. if u use it on a bed etc thats one possible reason for high temps :)

If it ain't broke don't fix it :)
 
it is some Japaneses/Korean laptop i picked up at seoul

performance and configuration is good at t9300 2.5ghz,6mb/4gb/4965abgn/965

but i checked this temp thing and i am sad

i wished to use this for next 3yrs+

that is the reason i picked up this t9300 lappy just 2 days after intel launched this processor

i dont know if this penryn core will be fine after withstanding this high temperature

will some of you kindly post your lappy's cpu load temp for reference/
 
nothins gonna happen to it, dont worry :p temps are a bit high, but hey, if its not lockin up on u or rebooting, that means that temps are still within range, simple enuf? :)
