Laptops Laptop doubts drivin me crazy!

okay, I have gone through many review sites and the excellent article by superczar, but I am still confused....

1)Which of the follllowing is better for gaming??( I mean older games like that of 2005)

Turion Mk36 with integrated go 6150 (Compaq 3155 AU)
or cre duo 2060 with gma 950 (640 m base config)

2)Do we have a discrete card option in 640m(like atleast X1300 or 1400)???If buying from dell India that is....

3) dell 6400 is actually perfect, but isn't it too big??

4)can we play DVD's in compaq without booting (ala media direct)???

5)is there any other rig below 45k that has atleast a discrete card and is yet light weight...

6)how much is the gaming performance of c2d diff fron Core duo....???
7)lastly which models have good keyboards and a keypad light if possible(like thinkp) acer/compaq/toshib/dell

8)Nvidia 7300 or Ati X1400 ????
I love the thinkpad that I use but it has got too old with three yrs of faithful service, and struggles to run AOE 3 even at low setings

IT seems I will be allowed a upgrade if my parents allow it... also the turion does not seem too much of an upgrade from P-M whcih I have.....

any suggestions will be useful..:ohyeah:

p.s. I know a big list but i guess it will be useful fr a lot of people....:(

not much knowledge but still core duo is better. leave this to experts like superczar or chaos and many others

but imo with onboard graphics you can play solitaire at excellent frame rates :P, latest games a big no no.

unfortunately no you do not have discrete graphics card option.

if you want some gaming then you need to have 15.4 incher imo you cant go that much big with it.

i think it does not provide discrete card within 45 k limits

i recently purchased a dell inspiron 6400 from USA it costed me 45k, here is the link.

right now tha same config in indian dell site makes up to 67286 plus taxes with some minor difference.

BTW OT SUGGESTION : if you are looking at a good solution why dont you pick up superczars offer in market
