Hi. My friend wants to buy a new laptop with a budget of 35~40k. 3gb or more ram and a discrete graphics card are must. He'd use it mainly for gaming and watching movies. Please suggest one. Any brand is okay. Thanks in advance.

^^ If you would wanna stretch the budget a LITTLE BIT, try for HP Envy 14

It's the best, configured with a COre i5 460M and 4GB RAM, and HD5650, gaming galore on the beautiful 14.5" screen(resolution 1366x768)

@comp@ddict: I came to know from some ebay seller that the cost is 60k. Is that an overpriced one? What's the actual cost of it?

What about the Dell Inspiron 15R.... that's 32k with:

* Intel Core i3-330M Processor

* Genuine Windows 7 Home Basic

* 3GB DDR3 SDRAM + 320GB* Hard Drive

* 15.6-inch HD 720p WLED (1366×768) Display with TrueLife

Or the MSI FX600, I think that's around 40K, maybe a bit more, but you'll have to check... according to a review I read, it is "well capable of playing Blu-ray movies and reasonably cutting-edge games, the FX600 doesn't disappoint." (you can read the full review here if you're interested). It comes with a Core i3-330M with 4GB of DDR3 memory and 1GB nVidia GeForce GT325M graphics.

The Envy does look good though, if you can get it for cheap enough.

Hope that helps!

Yeah. Saw it. My bad. Was checking through mobile phone. So, had some problem. That model is really a steal.
Thanks a lot comp@ddict.
