What's your Budget? (e.g. >30K, not more than 50K etc.)
- Upto 2 lakhs.

What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? (e.g. web surfing/office apps/Casual Gaming)
- Using 3D rendering software for architecture (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Blender, SketchUp, Autodesk Revit).

What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between).
- 80% of the time, the laptop will be sitting on a desk so portability is not a priority. 17" is also fine but 15.6" is preferred.

Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)
- I have heard that Dell has the best build quality these days. Don't have much information.

Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)
- Display colour reproduction should be good. This laptop won't be used for gaming, higher refresh rate is not required.

My other two requirements are good build quality / solid contruction (no creaks and cracks) & the configuration should be value for money.
Thanks.

PS: This is for an architect friend of mine.

Legion Pro 5 with 4070 with 100%DCI-P3 240Hz screen. You can choose between a i9 14900HX or AMD 7945HX.

You can try to call and customize a ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 to include a 4070 or 4060 if you want a super tough laptop as 40 series is not an option on India website.

Asus, Acer, Dell all offer similar specification laptops for round about same price with Acer being the cheapest and Asus probably the most expensive.
Like this Helios is probably the cheapest with a 14900HX and a 4070

But you should look into things like cooling and service more as laptop would be stressed to the maximum.
