Hi Guys,
My cousin is studying Architecture and my Uncle is looking for a Laptop for her; so I am interested in knowing the system requirements for a laptop for Architecture students.
I guess such a laptop would have to be able to run CAD and other design software.
My experience with AutoCAD has only been for some documentation work(AutoCAD 2000+LISP+DB) so I haven't actually used the full power of AutoCAD. Are the current versions of CAD/design software GPU-intensive/Memory-Intensive? Would an AMD APU based Laptop suffice(if it even exists)?
Looking forward to any suggestions; I hope there are some Architecture students on TE who can give me some additional suggestions based on their experience.
Best Regards,
aX
