Laptops Laptop for around 35K

Hi,

Looking for a decent laptop. Main purpose to watch dvd movies, music listening and moderate gaming.

Any finance options available. please note i dont have a credit card.

I would also like to attach my 5.1 creative speaker system to the lappy. Is there any specific sound card for laptops which supports 5.1 channel audio.

Creative has one, any idea of its price.

Please advise options.

Acer has a new laptop 3682NWXCi. Specs are quite decent - Celeron 1.6 Ghz, 533 Mhz bus speed, 256 DDR 533 ram, 14.1" Widescreen, card reader and it has 3 outputs for sound which should mean that they support true 5.1 channel sound. It should cost abt 32000. Just add another 1.5k for another 256 Mb stick to be able to run Win XP comfortably.
 
HCL with the following specs - Core Duo 1.6GHz 2MB L2 (533 FSB, not 667), 945GM chipset, 256MB DDR2, 40GB SATA, Combo Drive, 14" WXGA, Integrated Modem, Carrybag with Linux OS -~34k + taxes.

Will suffice for music and watching movies. Am not sure how the GMA950 scales in the latest games, u might wanna check on that.

About 5.1 audio output, again most of the models have one line-out/heaphone-out which means they only support stereo out.
 
Wow, thats pretty cheap for a Core duo laptop. Here in Mumbai you can get a HCL Centrino 1.6 Ghz for abt 32000 all inclusive, but the Acer will be almost as fast since it has a higher bus speed and faster memory. More higher HCL laptops are much more expensive in Mumbai,
 
Acer looks like it will suffice my needs. Any body has any experience working with it with regarding to watching movies ???

If i add to it a dvd-dl burning drive how much will the price increase ??
 
I dont think Acer laptops are customisable. However there is another laptop - Comapaq 5201 which has a big 15.4" Widescreen, 1.46 Ghz Celeron Processor, 60 GB Hdd, 256 Mb DDR2 533 ram, DVD Writer. This is available for 35000 all inclusive.
