Laptop from USA, $600.

Hey,

My cousin is in US rite now and returning towards the month end.

Though he already has 3 laptops booked, have pushed him to get one more for me.. ( He's with his family 2 +2 )

So, i need a laptop & a tablet !


Laptop -

15 " screen, decent proccy, with Graphic card. Max 550$-600$. Will be used for multimedia, normal games, video editing ( basis level ).


Tablet -

Should have GSM connectivity, MS outlook, Tata Photon support, good battery back up. Don't intend to pay more than 200$ on this.



Please help me out with these 2 products.

Get Asus k53sm-sx010D from India @ 38k, that's the best option you can get. I searched whole newegg, amazon & tigetdirect, still couldn't find a better deal (except z570 which I don't trust personally). Moreover, don't expect anything better than 540M/630M at this budget.

@coolcatric The first one doesn't has discrete GPU, and I seriously don't advise you to opt for a 17". Its just too heavy. Also the cost turns out to be just 2k cheaper than India, so its not really a great deal.

I checked with ASUS, they offer 1 year Global warranty on all laptops. Not sure on other brands, any idea about Sony/Lenovo/HP/Acer ??

Sony, Dell, MSI, Lenovo (thinkpad for sure, ideapad- don't know). HP - most probably, Apple. Acer- don't know.
