Laptops Laptop getting stiffy

In past 2 months, it has happened twice that while running on AC mains, the laptop has either switched onto the battery and discharged itself or has failed to detect the Charger. What to do about it? Its not a frequent incident but what if might becomes one? :@

Laptop is Dell Studio 1555 and bought it in May this year but began using it a Download Rig only this month. :ohyeah:
 
Monitor it for a few days. It may be time to call in Dell Support. Dell Studio 1555 is known to have a few issues, but I am not sure what happens to your Laptop is known already. Any Studio 1555 owner care to confirm?
