My old laptop has suddenly developed heating problem. One thing that i've noticed is that earlier I used to hear the noisy sound of fan suddenly starting up .... I no longer hear that. I checked the fan and it was working fine. But it was not noisy.
So is it possible that the fan's speed increases on crossing a certain temp limit and that has stopped happening ? In this case what can be the parts needing replacement and their rough cost.
Also, thanks to an old GO from RiO, I have some AS5 and I wish to apply it on my lappy. Is that okay ?
