Laptops laptop Help ?

Depends on your needs. I would recommend a Macbook Pro. Its cool, light, stylish and well configured to run all the games :) If you want more power, look at a system such as Clevo D900c with user upgradable Gfx cards or Asus C90s with desktop processor which will blow away all other laptops for performance.

If you want a ultralight-ultraportable system, look at Lenovo X61. If you want a tough business class laptop, look at Lenovo T61 or Dell Latitude D830.

As you can see, it all depends on what are your needs from that laptop :)

Man that budget is :drool2: for a lappy.. Now why dont you post some stuff like usage, screen size pref, can you get it from US? etc etc..
 
with 1.4L i wud be guessing he wants maybe a desktop replacement??

17" ?

u may see the DELL VOSTRO series.. they have amazing VFM. u can pick some really high end stuff and still fit it just under 1L :)
