Laptops Laptop Insurance?

Since I use my laptop a lot for playing sets in clubs/live festivals which are highly theft prone zones, I was wondering what sort of accidental/theft insurance I can get, does anyone here have their laptop insured?

same here even i would be higly interested in insuring my laptop please get somebody to insure it.

I presume you do at least use a kensington lock as a deterrent while you scout for insurance

A Kensington lock wont server my purpose because whenever my laptop is outside my backpack its either in the console and with me or a known person so that's not an issue.

What I'm afraid of the is entire backpack itself being flicked. So back to topic, nobody uses any sort of insurance for their notebooks?

do you at least have a warranty on it?

i have a Squaretrade warranty for my laptop. It's a lot cheaper than the warranty that the manufacturer offers...
