Laptops Laptop not booting, Please help

hi guys need some help from you guys I have a HP DV6701AU Laptop which was running Vista for quite some time.A week back I removed Vista and installed Win7 on it and it was running fine.Today when I tried to switch on the laptop it refused to start.Getting stuck on the HP startup screen.Unable to do anything, cant even enter BIOS setup.on hitting esc I get image 2 as attached below.Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks in advance.


 
please try to boot from a clean dvd boot windows 7 and check the same.The CPU stepping unknown message is may be a faulty Bios message (may be).Try to boot from the disk .If its OK please flash the BIOS via s/w from HP website.

No need to flash the BIOS if all things works fine except the error message.
 
The problem is that I cant get past the HP invent screen.

there was a problem with the keyboard, now solved.
