51-70k Laptop recommendations under 65K without soldered RAM & expandable storage

As the title says, I am looking for a laptop under 65K for general usage - writing, movies, casual gaming very occasionally ( old Fifa, cricket, playing AAA games from 10-15 years ago on low settings is fine by me) . Needs to have a backlit keyboard. Lenovo and Asus seem to be my only options. I already have a 6-year-old Asus that I plan to exchange for the new laptop. Want to try out some other brand. Not interested in Acer, Infinix and other unknown brands with questionable build quality and poor after sales service.

P.S. How afraid should I be of laptops with soldered RAM, considering after sales service in India is like playing Russian roulette. Asus was good in Delhi NCR. I tried getting service for my out of warranty Asus in Bengaluru. Didn't go very well. Had no parts available according to them. How is Lenovo in Bengaluru, if any one has any clue?

Legion 5 Slim is good.
Lenovo has dedicated service centers, Asus has outsourced service centers to some companies.

I completely understand your concerns about soldered RAM, especially when you're thinking about long-term usage and the potential hassle of upgrades or repairs. You're right that after-sales service can be a bit of a gamble, especially when dealing with out-of-warranty products. In your case, choosing a laptop with removable RAM is a wise choice. It gives you more flexibility in the future, as you can upgrade or replace the RAM if it no longer meets your needs.

This one is a good option for gaming laptop and under your budget Lenovo 15IRX9
Thanks but have seen these earlier. Doing my research on this and the findings are not very positive. The HX dyes are seemingly the ones that have seen issues of excessive battery drain and motherboard failures, especially in the LOQ series. One big red flag for me was learning that the HX-series processors are desktop-class chips repurposed for laptops, meaning they generally consume more power and generate more heat than standard mobile processors (like the H or P series).
On another note, the asus vivobook creator series with 16 inch screens and dedicated graphics cards which seemed attractive a t first glance, also have a documented issue with breaking hinges so that is also out of consideration now.

Go with asus vivobook or HP elitebook
Bro I got the Asus Vivobook pro 15 oled about 2 years back, It has soldered ram, I couldn't find it properly mentioned anywhere on the product specifications page (They were using some confusing stuff like "16 gb available on board") and decided to buy it.. I only figured it out after I had opened it up to upgrade the ssd.. It has 16 gigs of ram, which is plenty for me but the point I'm trying to make is that companies may not clearly mention that they're using soldered ram..

I don't think there is any reason to be afraid.. I have seen multiple old ddr3 sticks fail over time but never seen a ddr4 stick fail.. So I think there is some sort of advancement in the tech that must've enabled it to work for a longer lifespan.. The main issue with soldered ram is upgradability in my opinion..
