Laptops Laptop Repair - Bangalore - Help!

I have an out of warranty Vaio I need to get fixed.

The fan is not working, but the service center guys are saying its apparently due to lack of voltage from the motherboard and the faulty motherboard would need to be replaced (for 15k!).

I need alternatives, so let me know....

My personal Experience.. It so happened that on they way back flight I had kept my chocolate on my Sony VAIO laptop bag and forget. Later to observe I saw it melted covered the FAN!!! Took it to SP Road just above Some manjushree complex, He ever charged 1500/- for 10 Rs chocolate work. Didn't work for a day Later when i took it to service Centre in MG ROad they charged me 1500/- as consultation fees and had to change my Display card or something.. Please take decision very careful.. but then It was just my experience

I cudnt find any reliable laptop service centres in bangalore.Though when i SP Road to buy a few things i did find some shops which were repairing laptops. I am not sure it was world computers or max or something. Though you can go there and try it out.
Incase u travell to delhi i can recommend you someone who is awesome in the work he does. I say this cuz the HCL people(who service TOshioba laptops) said my motherboard is screwed and it needs to be replaced whihc would cost me 20K. so i went to this guy in Nehru place and he repaired the motherboard for 2.5K+ 1 month warranty.
so yeah get it done from some reliable place and note down the serial number of memory sticks,hdd to.
