Dear All,

I am in search for a new laptop.

Please find the prefilled questionnaire

  • What's your Budget? (e.g. >30K, not more than 50K etc.) : 45 to 50K
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? (e.g. web surfing/office apps/Casual Gaming) - MS Office, Emails, HD Videos, Rare gaming
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between) : Preferably 15"
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell) : I was using an HP laptop before, did not have a good experience with the screen as it left black spots. Any other brand is preferred.
  • Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.) : Need a long battery life

- Any laptop having higher nits for brightness is good to use in bright environment
- now a days 512 ssd is must
 
Thank you everyone for your suggestions.. How are Dell Laptops ? Can any one suggest one
 
Dell laptops are ok but they are not as light and thin as other brands
 
The ratings seem to be mixed for most of the laptops..

i5 1235U only has 2 P cores. Try and get an i5-1240P which has 4 P cores. Or if you're fine with just 2 P cores then get one with i3-1220P which would be cheaper than an i5-1235U and arguably better.
