51-70k Laptop to be used primarily for gaming

Need to buy a laptop to be used primarily for gaming, Budget is around 50k,MAX 60K.

ALSO I need to buy it within 2-3days,have shortlisted Samsung NP550P5C, is there anything better/cheaper, i dont play single player much, but play Cs 1.6, CS :GO, COD mw3 a lot, so these need to run at max Settings without hiccups.
 
Had shortlisted Samsung NP550P5C-S05IN at first which was 59900on Flipkart.com yesterday, but was getting it locally for 55k from Samsung showroom,on friend's suggestion am buying Lenovo Ideapad Y500.

I would like your views whether Lenovo Y500 is worth the extra 10k,especially the only differences being the Full HD screen in the lenovo and the gddr5 GT 650M compared to the gddr3 on Samsung.

Actually the Y500 is a bit better, plus Samsung is new in laptop market, and after sales service is shit, the friend I mentioned has NP550P5C-S02IN... S05IN is the new model with windows 8 and new proccy 3630QM.
 
Samsung NP550 has heat-throttling issues which gets worse .. if you wanna to heavy gaming stick to more gaming-optimized laptop. Lenovo Y500 is a good choice.

Thanks for the input, i am going to buy the y500 on Friday, but just need to make sure the extra 10k is worth it.

Well, newer is better is not always better. AFAIK, the sammy has got a bit better CPU, will post link after I find it. And it's strange but true that there's not much difference between ddr3 and ddr5 versions of gt650m in both.
 
Lenovo has a FUll HD screen , also yeah 3632QM on the lenovo is clocked lesser than the 3630QM on the Sammy.

Sammy is new in the laptop market , and you are correct , Newer is not always better , i dont mind buying the sammy obe , its just that my friend with the NP550P5C-S02IN is suggesting i dont buy the sammy (im getting it for 55 with a free backpack and 1 year extended warranty-local samsung showroom compared to 62k on flipkart ) and go for the lenovo one instead !

For Gaming ,two of the most important things are processor and gpu. And lenovo Y500 has got both of them as better.
Gt 650m is a decent gpu, but in lenovo, its ddr5 vram,And sammy has ddr3 vram.

ddr5 is definately faster than ddr3 vram.So, for gaming i think you should go for lenovo.
Also, A sammy is a newbie in terms of laptop building vs lenovo (Grandfather IBM's kid.)So, build quality vise lenovo would be better.
But i have no experience of having a lenovo, i have used original IBM's Thinkpad laptops which as all of know were rock solid.
In terms of sound: Lenovo has jbl speakers with dolby 4.0(They are really good, i has dell xps 15 also uses jbl: Sound is awesome)

Touchpad has problems, but as soon as I purchased, i complained and local service centre ordered a new Synaptics touchpad, to replace the elan one..

Thanks, there were only two options, this and Samsung NP550P5C-S05IN...

Lenovo won, due to GPU and Full HD screen, customer service is also good, plus I have 2 years accidental damage protection and on site warranty.
