Happy New Year Guys!
Make my new year happy too by suggesting me a lappy under 20k to buy
I already have a decent home rig I'll be using this laptop mostly for convenience and for when there is power cuts, which is frequent where I'm currently staying.
I'm not going to game on this but I need the lappy to support dual monitors smoothly and the second monitor will be a 24" 1080p.
It should have an hdmi port but my 24" has vga too.
I'm looking at the Compaq Presario CQ43-301AU
It has AMD fusion E-450 but most importantly has HD 6320 GPU and hdmi port.
I prefer lowest upto E-350 and HD 6310 as I believe anything lower won't be a smooth setup unless you can convince me otherwise .
I'm not looking exclusively for AMD if there are similar options in Nvidia please tell.
Another thing, I will probably upgrade RAM to 4Gb instead of the usual 2Gb they provide.
The E-450 supports 1333MHz, one level higher than E-350. Will this make a difference if I'm not gaming and only dual monitoring and playing hd video in worst case?
Also is there an option to buy the lappy without the OS.
The Compaq I mentioned has Win7 Home and costs ~21.5 or lower.I'm sure a linux/DOS setup would be at least 1.5k cheaper.
