Plz help find out about the above list and also plz point out if any thing is not present in the list..thanks :)

D/port (add/upgrade): What's a D-port?

Second PATA hdd : No, you can't add more than 1 hdd

Graphics card (add/upgrade): Mostly, no....except on very few laptops ...

Screen (upgrade):mostly no... you can replace youo existing screen iwth a higher res. screen, but needless to say it should be the same size

Internal Blue tooth device: depends

USB port/s ..yes,and no, you can add PCMCIA - USB cards or use an exteral

USB hub

In addition to the above, you can typically replace/upgrade the Processor (withi the same series of course, i.e proccysthat are compatible with your mobo chipset and proccy slot...e.g from a T2300 to a T7200, or a celeron M-350 to a P-M 735...

also, you get several different kind of PCMCIA cards like TV tuneror Firewire etc.

Thanks.. so this suggests that quite a lot can be upgraded or changed in a lappy.. thats decent.. I guess we wouldn't want to upgrade a proccy on a lappy.. would we?

D/port is sort of port replicater.. i saw an option on Dell site .. this costs around 10k ...

ah, the port replicator is an external device..you can always buy it later...so it's really an accessory more than an upgrade
